USA VOTES 2016

The latest news & results from the 2016 US election campaign

Trump and Clinton supporters clash in Manhattan

Donald Trump supporters and anti Trump protestors have crowded in Manhattan outside the Republican’s home to both celebrate and oppose his inevitable victory.

Both groups have clashed over the imminent election result which will see Trump become the new President of the United States and there are said to have been several fights which have broken out in the New York borough.

In what has been a heated election with two very contrasting candidates, this will likely be the first of many clashes between supporters and opposition.

The news is not that surprising, as Hillary Clinton is currently located just one block away from Donald Trump with several Democrat supporters keen to be near their presidential candidate.

Below are a collection of tweets documenting the situation in Manhattan.
