North Carolina becomes Republican

The results have been calculated for North Carolina and predictions of a Hillary Clinton victory have been blown out the water as Donald Trump has clinched the 15 electoral votes which were on offer. We are reporting this with 92% of the votes recorded with 51.1% going to Trump.

North Carolina was considered to be one of the key battleground states.

This follows the trend of North Carolina voting Republican.
