Mr Trump referred to the process as ‘a movement, not an election’, expressing how people have become more engaged and demanding change.
Mr Trump reminded viewers that we live in a dangerous world and how we want to keep the American way of life safe. As a solution, he encouraged viewers to go out and vote and also commented on how the numbers are great in this election and their vote matters more now than ever. He also did not hesitate to express his annoyance towards government ‘leaving people behind on the campaign trail’ and his scepticism surrounding politicians and how they deal with society’s problems.
Eric Trump spoke very highly of his father, referring to him as an ‘amazing man’ and the ‘greatest father in the world’. He highlighted his confidence in his father winning the election and told viewers he has a lot of fight in him. He also reassured viewers that Donald Trump will do the nation a great service.
As the interview was drawing to a close, Mr Trump managed to spare a few moments to discuss Obamacare and the welfare system, expressing disappointment with how many people are forced to claim benefits.
