Hillary Clinton spent today in Las Vegas, Nevada, trying to promote more votes in her favour and rally support against political rival Donald Trump. After being greeted by a chanting crowd, hugs and praise were shared by a majority on her arrival.
A crowd of hundreds are awaiting Hillary’s second rally in Las Vegas since announcing her candidacy.
The purpose of the rally, taking place in the Smith Centre For Performing Arts, is to garner more support for Hillary in the wake of Donald Trump overtaking her by one point in the polls.
As Nevada is a Silver State, Hillary is using her rally to promote votes and encourage people to head to the polling stations, ahead of the November 4th early voting deadline.
Currently, only 121,373 people have used their early vote, 9.36% of the population of Nevada who are entitled to early votes.
Historically, Nevada has supported the Democratic Party, with a majority of 11/10 in the 2012 US elections.
This is a trend that Hillary would like to continue, which could explain this being her second rally in the state within months.
